AG-PS55 (PS-101)

AG-PS55 (PS-101) is a specialized product formulated to clean the internal surfaces of transmission dry gas pipelines. It is applicable in gas processing facilities, gas transmission pipelines, and gas gathering systems. The PS-101 formulation comprises a blend of nanoparticles combined with biocidal agents and drying compounds. These nanoparticles operate through a Brownian motion diffusion mechanism, generating a wedge effect within the pipeline that effectively removes iron sulfide deposits, biofilms, and mild carbonate scale from pipe walls. This action facilitates direct contact of the biocidal components with bacterial colonies residing on and within the pipe surface, thereby achieving an exceptionally high microbial kill rate compared to conventional products. Additionally, PS-101 deposits a nanoparticle film that electrically adheres to the pipe surface, forming a protective barrier that inhibits adhesion of further contaminants. This coating also provides corrosion protection against acidic gases such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon dioxide (CO2), and organic acids.

Sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) infiltrate metal pores and form extensive colonies that accelerate pipe degradation via metabolite deposition. SRB activity causes corrosion by thinning pipe walls and promotes biofilm (biodome) formation, which contributes to pressure loss and reduced gas flow efficiency. In dry gas pipelines, biofilms degrade into iron sulfide black powder, which is effectively removed through the AG-PS55 treatment process.

PS-101 is 10 to 15 nano meters in thickness and it acts as a repellant to all gas flow, greatly facilitating and accelerating the mobility of gas. This is accomplished by reducing surface tension and increasing flow for all pressures. A Nano meter is 1 billionth of a meter and is only visible under a transmission electron microscope (TEM). Our nano particles will not stack up and cannot cause build up but only lay next to each other.

Note: a continuous injection product is available. Also we have products available for wet transmission lines for all fluids. We also offer oil base cleaners as well, for multiple purposes, with the same technology.

Application Method

PS-101 is best used in pigging clean outs with batches varying from 3 to 4 miles to per batch. Treatment target is 3.5 to 5 mils coverage. This product can be used in conjunction with brush systems. PS-101 is a continuous injection product.

AG-PS55 (PS-201)

AG-PS55 (PS-201) is a specialized product formulated to clean the paraffin from internal surfaces of oil flowing pipe lines and combination lines of oil, water, and gas. The PS-201 formulation comprises a blend of nanoparticles combined with biocidal agents and drying compounds. These nanoparticles operate through a Brownian motion diffusion mechanism, generating a wedge effect within the pipeline that effectively break up paraffin deposits on the wall of the pipe then adsorbs to the pipe's internal surface, effectively lowering the fluid-solid interfacial tension. This formulation facilitates pigging operations by enabling smoother and more efficient movement of pigging devices without causing blockages. The product generates a wedge effect within the pipeline, effectively lifting deposits including biofilms, sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), iron sulfides, paraffins, and mild carbonate scaling from the pipe interior. This action allows the biocidal components to directly contact bacterial colonies adhered to or embedded in the pipe surface. The inclusion of surfactants enhances the penetration of nanoparticles into bacterial biofilms, ensuring effective delivery of biocides to the target microorganisms. Consequently, the product achieves a substantially higher microbial kill rate compared to competing treatments. Additionally, PS-201 deposits a nanoparticle film that electrically bonds to the pipe surface, forming a protective barrier that inhibits the adhesion of contaminants, thereby preserving pipe integrity.
